Business Women's Forum 2020: 01/28 Transformational Learning: The Key to Advancing Your Career as Women
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT. THIS EVENT HAS SOLD OUT. TO CONFIRM YOUR REGISTRATION OR FOR EVENT QUESTIONS, PLEASE EMAIL BWF@SLCHAMBER.COM.
The latest research continues to say that the key to career and leadership development is continuous education, ongoing growth, and transformational learning. Internationally recognized leadership and learning expert, Dr. Susan R. Madsen, will provide an engaging presentation that will help attendees understand why this is so important for women, which types of learning opportunities can be most helpful, how our developmental capacity can be strengthened, and what we can do to deepen our growth.
CALL TO ACTION:
One of the Business Women's Forum goals is to influence positive change in our community. This month we are asking our attendees to bring gift cards or send e-gift cards to The Christmas Box International. One of Christmas Box International's biggest needs right now is gift cards for children's activities and restaurants in the community. When the kids live there, the staff like to take them out in the community for different opportunities for two reasons:
2. They use these opportunities to teach the kids acceptable behavior in public. They try to teach them manners in restaurants by showing them how to act and treat people they come in contact with and how to be appropriate and respectable in the community. It is a valuable learning opportunity for these children who almost never get to have these kinds of experiences.
